Viola Orchards is a family owned farm and cidery located in Estacada, Oregon, in what once was the town of Viola. The land and cidery resides on the homestead of what local folklore says was once the general store. In most recent years it has become the home of hundreds of american cider, crab, culinary, heirloom, english & french cider apple trees that have been grafted, planted and tended to by the owners Brian and Lavina.
Viola Orchards is a young thriving orchard. As well as picking apples in their orchard, Brian and Lavina hand pick similar varieties from an orchard 30 miles away in the Willamette Valley.
Once picked and pressed, Viola Orchards begins the cider making by fermenting the juice via a cultured yeast process. Once fermentation is complete the cider is carbonated and ready for enjoyment.
